04 Mar Wanda Vedder

Wanda June Vedder, died March 1, 2024.  Per Wanda’s request no services will be held.

Wanda was born on March 29, 1947, in North Platte, Nebraska to Ivan and Edith (Colson)Matticks.  She grew up in Arvada, CO, Hamlet and Hayes Center, Nebraska.  Wanda married William Edwards in July 1964.  To this union two children were born Jocelyn and Patrick.  They were divorced on April 1, 1974.

Wanda married James Vedder in February 1980.  To this union a son Russell was born.  They were divorced in 1989.  She worked for Tomahawk Truck Stop from 1979 – 1995.  She moved to Oregon and then to Bismarck in 1999.  She worked at the Bismarck Police Department as an Evidence Tech from 2001 – 2014 when she retired.  She enjoyed retirement and traveling to Oregon every summer to visit children and grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her children:  Jocelyn (Alex) Pappadakis, Patrick (Betsy) Edwards, Russel Vedder (Danielle Briston); nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and special friend Tim Schwab.
