Sharon M. Brooks passed away on April 15, 2024, at Sanford Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Bismarck Funeral Home, 3723 Lockport St., with Rev Allen Wagner officiating. A graveside service will be held this summer, at Dale Cemetery, Emmons County.

Sharon was born March 27, 1944, in Linton ND to Damian and Lucille Wagner.  In 1962, she graduated from St. Benedict High School in Strasburg, ND.

Sharon married Larry Brooks in Strasburg on June 25, 1963.  Sharon and Larry moved numerous times during their early years of marriage but called Bismarck their home for the last 45 years.

Sharon and Larry had three children Larry Jr, Michele and Kelly.  Sharon stayed at home with the kids until Kelly was in high school.  She then started working at Q&R Clinic (Sanford).

Sharon loved spending time in her garden and flower beds during the summers and spent numerous hours during the winters working on arts, crafts and puzzles.  She traveled whenever she could, spending time in Florida and later in Arizona. Prior to her health declining, she spent quite a few winters being a North Dakota snowbird.

Sharon is survived by her three children, Larry Jr of Valley City, ND and his two children Myles (Kelsie) Brooks of Grand Forks, ND and Cody (Leah) Brooks of Bottineau, ND and their four great grandchildren, Michele (Dave) Weston of Gillette, WY and Kelly (Rob) Johnson of Bismarck and their five children Jordan (Jordan) Dahl of Bismarck, Tyler Adolf of Bismarck, Brooke (Matt) Settergren, of Duluth MN, Hunter (Katie) Johnson of Bismarck and Lauren Johnson of Bozeman, MT and their six great grandchildren, her sister Alicia Fischer of Bismarck and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by husband Larry, her parents Damian and Lucille Wagner, her sisters Edith Voller, Dorothy Lipp, and Joan Dangerfield and her brother Robert Wagner.
