Rogette M. Shannon, 88, Bismarck, passed away January 9, 2024. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 16, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 615 E. Turnpike. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
She is survived by her three children: Mark Shannon, Dale (Kim) Shannon, and Dawn (Brad) Burkhalter; three grandchildren Jess (Getty) Cruz, Matthew (Jo) Burkhalter, and Zach (Ciara) Burkhalter; three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Shannon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Martin Luther School, 413 E. D Ave, Bismarck, or the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
So sorry to hear of Rogette’s passing. She was a great lady. Proud to say we were her friends.
She was so thoughtful. She sent Birthday cards and Anniversary cards to so many people. We will send a contribution to Martin Luther in memory of Rogette.
I am just learning of Rogette’s death . I loved her. We were great garage sale buddies! Oh! I am so sad. I would have been to her funeral today if I had only known.
