14 Aug Rhonda Parker

Rhonda Lynn Giffin Parker, loving wife of Lonney Parker, passed from this life on Thursday, July 11, 2019.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home.  Visitation will take place on Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home.

On September 11, 1957, Rhonda was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  She graduated from Stevensville High School in 1976 and later received her Associate Degree in Phlebotomy, from Bismarck State College, in North Dakota.  Rhonda married her high school sweetheart, Lonney.  They spent 41 years together and had three children, Ryan, Riley and Rachelle. 

Being adventurous, Rhonda loved to travel the country over the years. She enjoyed   motorcycling, cruising in her Trans-am and summer boating. She was an avid coin collector and accumulated coins from around the world.  Rhonda worked several years at the Sakakawea Medical Center in Hazen. She was a loving and caring person and cherished being a mom and grandmother.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Lonney: sons, Ryan Parker, Bismarck and Riley (Becky) Parker, Bismarck; daughter, Rachelle (Chris) Peterson, Bismarck; and seven grandchildren.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her twin brother, Richard Giffin; her parents, Richard and Jane Giffin; and father-in law, Dean Parker.
