Raymond Fred Leonhard, age 95 died peacefully and entered the arms of his Savior at Miller Pointe, Mandan on March 30, 2021.

Raymond was born to Fritz and Anna (Krause) Leonhard on February 13, 1926 in New Salem, ND and went to school there.

Raymond is a WWII Veteran and received a purple heart for injuries he sustained. On August 7, 1948 he married Patrice Snyder and they made their home in California. In 1972, they moved to Mandan where Raymond had worked at the Heart view Foundation.

He loved western movies and songs and it was a joy to hear him sing.

Raymond if survived by one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 14 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
