It is with a heavy heart that the family of Nichole B. Miller of Bismarck, ND tell you of her passing on Friday, April 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and friends.  She was 34 years old and a wonderful, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Nichole was born on November 15, 1987, in Idaho Falls, ID, the daughter of Terry Roepke and Tami (Stender) Moeller.  Nichole was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waconia, MN and confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church in West St. Paul, MN.  On June 28, 2018, she was united in marriage to Zachary Miller at his childhood home in Bismarck by Rev. Allen Wagner.

Nichole was a loving wife to Zach and a devoted mother to their daughter Kaylee.  She enjoyed going into a photo booth with her husband and daughter and creating silly photos.

Her favorite past time was playing games.  Both video and board games.  She cherished Sunday night game night with her friends.  The memories of the food, conversations, and laughs always made her smile.

The other things she loved were anime and going to anime conventions, training for endurance events, reading a book, or listening to a thought-provoking podcast.

Nichole was an eternal optimist. She battled her cancer with resolve and determination, never complaining or feeling self-pity.  She faced every setback with a contagious smile.  And when the doctors and nurses had exhausted all options, she smiled at them and thanked them for helping her in the fight.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 1:00 pm at First Lutheran Church in Bismarck with Rev. Allen Wagner officiating.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00-7:30 at Bismarck Funeral Home with a prayer service to follow at 7:30.

Nichole,
I am so very fortunate to have crossed paths with you. Every time we visited you always had a positive attitude and a smile on your face. You were so strong and brave. I remember having conversations about competitions you were training for and of course how much you loved your family. May you fly high among the angels. May all your love embrace your family during this time and as time goes forward. You surely will be missed
