26 Jan Nancy Ashley

Nancy Ashley, 76 passed away in her home with her husband of 56 years by her side in Bismarck, ND. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 2, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home.

Nancy Mae Ashley was born on April 4^th, 1947 to Amedeo and Anna Brattini. Nancy was an only child and was raised in Lock Haven, PA.  She grew up there until she moved to Hillsboro, NH to work at the Sylvania Manufacturing Plant.

Nancy met John through a co-worker, and they began their journey together on January 13, 1968 in a small church in Washington, NH in front of family and friends. They made their first home in Atlas, Oklahoma. The military took them to Nebraska, Guam and finally to Minot, ND where they made their final home. She was a stay-at-home mother. In 2011 they moved to Apollo Beach, FL and were active in their retirement community. They moved back to Bismarck, ND to be surrounded by their family in 2022. Nancy was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by: Her husband, John Ashley Bismarck, son Carey (Kim) Ashley, Minot and daughter Darla (Lucky) Schoenwald, Bismarck. Her grandkids Timothy, Fargo, Tristin, Bismarck, Tia (Michael) Cleary, Bismarck, Levi Ashley, Dickinson, Lisa (Alex) Klein, Minot, Rachel Ashley, Minot. Her great grandchildren: Taylee, Paisley, Ryatt, Liam, Layla, Harrison, Raider, Henrik, Isaiah and another baby on the way.

She is proceeded in death by her parents.
