Jay Robertson, 42, passed away December 4, 2023, in Cartagena, Colombia. Services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, January 15, 2024, at Bismarck Funeral Home.

Jay Alexander Robertson was born Nov. 10, 1981, to Kent and Gayle Robertson in Bismarck, ND. He graduated from Bismarck High School in 2000. Jay touched the lives of many with his remarkable intelligence, infectious humor, and unwavering positivity. His laughter resonated with joy, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A devoted companion to his three beloved pets—Abby, Kirby, and Boots— Jay cherished the bond he shared with his furry children. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, radiating his light to all who surrounded him.

Tragically, on December 4th, 2023, Jay left us while on vacation with his family. He joins his grandparents Lloyd & Doranna Robertson, Duane & Carolyn Dinius, father Kent Robertson, cousin Taylor Price, and cherished canine companions Buster and Guinness.

He leaves behind his mother and stepfather Gayle & Dennis Johnson, brother Ryan (Danielle) Robertson, sister Brittany Robertson, niece Skyla Hoiby, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and his beloved work family at O’Brian’s.

Jay will be remembered for the laughter he brought into our lives, the love he shared with family and friends, and the positive spirit that defined his existence. May his memory continue to brighten our hearts, and may he rest in eternal peace.
