20 Mar Garth Heupel

Garth Lynn Heupel, 63, New Salem, died March 16, 2021, in a Bismarck hospital.  Funeral services will be on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 11:30 a.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the service.

Garth Lynn Heupel was born on September 2, 1957 In Bismarck, North Dakota to Milton and Adeline Heupel.  Garth joined the Army on January 6th, 1976.  After the Army he started his Career at Bismarck Parks and Recreation.  He retired on September 5, 2019 after 39 years of Service.

Garth was known for his love of animals and his love for his dog, Cookie.  He was an Avid Hunter and loved to fish when he could.   He was a family man who loved his children more than anything.  He was a humble man and got along with everyone he met.

He enjoyed hanging out with his Best Friend, Ric and loved being around his 5 grandchildren, Jaxson, 13, Finnegan,2, Lilith, 8, Ryker, 3, and Merida, 2.  He enjoyed his morning walks with his dog Cookie and loved listening to his records and strumming on his guitars.  He also enjoyed his old western movies.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Jennifer, Gary, Shelley, and Bradley, His brother, Timothy, His sister, Kathy, Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and Cookie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Adeline, Sister, Kelly, and Daughter, Sherri.
