A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Bismarck Funeral Home.  A livestream of the service will be available on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page.

Daniel was born August 21, 1963 in Bismarck to Rose (Bachmeier) and Eugene Grinsteiner. He grew up in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High in 1981. He married Vonnie (Spier) June 21, 1985. Their family grew with the addition of Jennifer in 1997.

Daniel spent most of his career as cabinet maker with Hager Cabinets Inc which later became Boll Cabinets Inc. He loved the detailed and artistic work of cabinetry. Daniel worked there until the time of his stroke in 2014. His love of woodworking and his second family at the shop continued on until his death.

Daniel worked hard and played hard. He loved spending the weekends at his brother’s river home and hanging out in his backyard shop. He was always jamming to classic rock music and threw rock parties for his family, friends, and neighbors. He enjoyed riding motorcycles from a young age and later taught his daughter to ride.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Vonnie; daughter: Jennifer (fiance Raul La Rosa), Cupertino, CA; brothers and sister: Doug (Sharon), Bismarck, Della (Mike), Bismarck, Dave, Grand Junction, CO, and John (Barb), Bismarck.

He was preceded by his parents, Rose (Bachmeier) and Eugene Grinsteiner and many beloved pets.

Fly high my love, you are free from limitations. You will be loved forever!
