Sadly, Connie lost her long battle with cancer on Thursday, January 28, 2021. She passed peacefully in her sleep while in the care of Vibra Hospital in Mandan ND. The staff there said she was so positive right up to the end. Her two sons and daughter-in-law, Tracey, were able to visit with her prior to her passing.

Connie worked at DGC in the warehouse until she retired. She made many friends in her lifetime and she loved to make people laugh with her sarcastic sense of humor.

She absolutely loved animals of all kinds, particularly dogs, cats, and birds. Connie loved to plant flowers around her yard, go camping, travel and shop. She enjoyed many hobbies over the years, some of her passions were sewing, ceramics and other arts and crafts. She loved to spend time with her grand kids and loved to spoil them when she was able.

Connie is survived by her two brothers Wayne and Larry Knipple; her eldest son, Brad and his wife Tracey, her youngest son, Scott and his wife Karla and their three boys, Damian, Elijah and Owen; her daughter by adoption Yuki Juarrick and her husband and their three children Carmelo, Aeio, and Joy; and her boyfriend Darrell Emmil, who was with Connie for some time and spent a lot of time with her during her last days.

Connie requested that we did not have a service or memorial for her. In lieu of cards or flowers, she requested that family and friends make a donation to the M&M Pet Rescue on her behalf.
