William “Bill” Ziemann, 79, Bismarck, passed away September 7, 2023, in his home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home.
Bill was born on December 26, 1943, in Hazen, ND to William and Irene (Tschaekofske) Ziemann. He was raised and educated in Stanton and graduated from Stanton High School.
Bill was united in marriage to Alice Schneider on February 27, 1965, in Bismarck. Bill worked various construction jobs and retired from Cretex in Menoken.
Bill is survived by his son Darin, daughter, Stacy (Ryan) Fennewald, grandchildren, Sierra Lindstrom, Cadance and Alexus Fennewald, sister, Connie (Jim) Woodwick, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alice, In-laws, Alex and Rose Schneider, brother-in-law, Johnny Schneider, sister-in-law, Ilene Horning and nephew, Wayne Schneider.

I was saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. I had enjoyed hearing about Bill and the feasts over the years that Bill and Alice would prepare for Connie and my brother Jim when they visited.
