Wayne Daniel Kluck, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on October 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Bismarck Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed on Bismarck Funeral Home and Crematory’s Facebook page.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, October 8, 2021 at Bismarck Funeral Home, where sharing of memories will begin at 7:00 PM.
Wayne was born on April 22, 1952, in Breckenridge, MN to Cyril and Marie (Schmidt) Kluck.
He was raised in Minot, ND and attended school at Bishop Ryan Catholic School and Minot State University. He was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad and relocated to Bismarck. He married Linda Johnson in 1974 and they raised three daughters, Angela, Jessica and Alison.
Wayne was passionate about helping people, but most of all he dedicated his life to serving Jesus. Wayne had a radical encounter with Jesus as a teenager that changed the course of his life. He went on several international mission trips to share the love of Jesus. He was a founding member of River of Hope and went on to start and run a community food pantry. Anyone who knew Wayne, knew he loved finding a good deal and spending his money buying cart loads of clothing, shoes, or anything he thought could bless others and sent it overseas to help the less fortunate.
Recently, he had told a loved one that he had such peace in his heart because he had finished the things the Lord asked him to do here on earth.
We’re so proud to call him a husband, dad, and especially grandpa. Wayne cherished each of his grandchildren and great grandchild and was looking forward to watching them grow. He encouraged them to use their God given gifts and to serve Jesus. We’re looking forward to spending eternity in heaven with you someday. Until then, we will try and continue the good fight, just like you taught us.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Angela, Jessica, Alison; son-in-law, Eduardo; grandchildren, Tanaeya, Kenzie, Shawna, Avery, Jakin, Joey, Arlo, Milo; great grandson, Amari; sisters, Carol, Charlotte, Donna, Bev, Kathy, Gerry; brother, Glen, and many friends whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Myrna and Sharon.
He will be greatly missed!
