Ryan Gisinger, 32, of Bismarck, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date. A livestream of the service will be available on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.
He was born February 27, 1990. Ryan was the youngest son of Kevin and Lorie (Perman) Gisinger. Ryan’s biggest love was his dog Rhonda, having her since she was small enough to fit in the palm of his hand. Ryan was passionate about cooking and was a long-time employee of Peacock Alley. When a change was needed, he went to work for the Cozy Creek Café at the United Tribes Technical Center. He wanted a slower work pace and the ability to see his customers and public face to face.
Ryan also loved playing the card game, Magic the Gathering, with friends new or old. He would play in local tournaments when he could, or just play with friends. Ryan also really liked playing frisbee golf around town. Video games were also a favorite hobby.
Ryan was involved in sports from a young age and played varsity in football and track & field at Bismarck High School, where he graduated in 2008.
Ryan always had a smile or a laugh for everyone he met, whether they were a longtime friend, or a stranger he was meeting for the first time.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Kevin and Lorie Gisinger; his brother, Gregory Gisinger and his daughter, Lucy; his brother, Matthew (Allison) Gisinger; his grandparents, Wesley and Linda Perman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ryan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Pius Gisinger; grandmothers, Edna Gisinger and Phyllis Perman; and great grandfathers and great grandmothers.
Ryan leaves us way to soon and will be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to get to know him.
