Ruth (Judy) L. Holzworth, 81, Bismarck, went to meet her Lord and Savior on December 13, 2022, peacefully surrounded by family. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Community Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Bismarck Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Ruth, daughter of Gottfried and Cinderella (Biffert) Magstadt, was born May 25, 1941, in Hebron, ND, where she was raised and attended school in Mott, ND. She was united in marriage to Floyd D. Holzworth on November 18, 1961, and they were blessed with five children. She did many jobs over the years, from painter, seamstress, Home Interior, and Avon Sales Representative. She devoted her life to the love and care of family, friends, and others. Her door was always open for a cup of coffee, homemade baked goods and conversation. Judy touched the lives of all she knew and loved.

Judy is survived by her children: Brandy Schott, Greg (Brenda) Holzworth, Jeff (Deb) Holzworth, Kim (Bernie) Becker and Sheree (Kevin) Wagner; grandchildren, Matt (Pam) Holzworth, Shawn Holzworth, Ryan Holzworth, Darren Holzworth, Nicole (Damir) Bicanic, Mitch (Cassie) Becker, Payton Becker, and Keylee Holzworth; great grandchildren; Jaxson Becker, Safia and Harris Bicanic, Brynley, Brooklyn, and Joseph Becker; brothers; Reuben Magstadt, Ervin (Marge) Magstadt, sister, Bernice Jamgocian.

She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd, her parents, father, and mother-in-law, and one special granddaughter Angela Vetter.

The family would like to thank the staff of CHI- Hospice for their compassionate care of Judy, along with providing peace to the family knowing she received the best medical treatment and care.
