Robert (Bob) Schneider, 31, Bismarck, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on February 27, 2025.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. March 15, 2025, at the Bismarck Eagles (313 N. 26th St. Bismarck, ND). Spreading of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.
Bob was born on June 28, 1993, to Rob and Nikki (Nelson) Schneider in Devils Lake, ND. He attended school in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 2011. Bob went on to obtain a geology degree from the University of North Dakota. Although he held many jobs throughout his life, Bob began his career working at VINE Laboratories, Inc. in CO. In 2020, Bob was diagnosed with stage four Burkitt’s lymphoma. After intense chemotherapy, he was considered in remission. He later returned to ND, working for Ulteig until his passing.
Bob was adamant that he was never going to get married, until he met the love of his life, Samantha Rudolph. They had a fairytale romance and were recently engaged.
Bob was a very generous person. He enjoyed spoiling his loved ones, especially his fiancé, Sam. Bob was known to give generous tips, and he handed out food and money to people experiencing homelessness.
Since childhood, Bob had a large circle of close friends who were considered family and helped turn the Schneider household into Grand Central Station. There was never a dull moment, and the memories that were made will never be forgotten.
Bob will be remembered by his family and friends as someone who lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms. His goal was to see the world, and he spent time doing just that. During college, he spent time in Belize and Guatemala, and later took spur of the moment trips to different destinations throughout the United States.
Bob loved food, especially pizza, French dips, and soup; and he was the world’s biggest critic of it. While in CO he sought out all of the mom & pop restaurants and tracked the food trucks around the Denver area and drove to their locations for his latest craving. A junk food junkie he was, trying all the newest snacks on the market and wasn’t shy about sharing his reports. If it received a positive rating, he would buy out the store and share with his family and friends. There were several “boy trips” that were taken with his buddies where Bob would insist at stopping off at all the little pizza joints along the way, irritating his buddies because it took too long to get to their destination.
“Not here for a long time, here for a good time!” Bob will be deeply missed by his fiancé and her family: mother and step-father, Flora and Gary Austad; father and step-mother, Arno and Colette Rudolph; Sam’s brother, Jacob Rudolph; step siblings, Kristen, Samantha & Keaton Lewis; Bob’s parents, Rob and Nikki (Nelson) Schneider; sister, Samera (Jace) Carroll and niece Isla; grandparents, Bob and Rosie Schneider; aunts and uncles, Jack and Shelly Kallenbach, Scott Bertsch, and Ronda Bertsch; several cousins; and numerous close friends who were family.
He was preceded in death by he & Sam’s baby Schneider, maternal grandparents, Byron and Gail Nelson; and uncle, Perry Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Heaven’s Helpers, The Dream Center, or Ministry on the Margins in memory of Bob.
