Robert (Bob) Johnson, 68, of Bismarck, ND, passed away on January 24, 2024, surrounded by loving friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday January 30 th at 10:30 am at Faith Lutheran Church 1402 E Ave C, Bismarck, ND 58501 with Rev. Derek Harkins officiating. The services will be live streamed on the Faith Lutheran Facebook Page.
He was born May 1, 1955, to Roy and Evelyn (Faidley) Johnson in Fargo, ND. Bob married Carolynn (Hill) on January 6, 1984, in Mandan, ND. Bob and Carolynn celebrated their 40 th anniversary in 2024. They have two daughters Elizabeth and Erica.
Bob worked as a Certified Financial Planner as his lifelong career, until he retired in 2022.
Bob especially loved traveling, playing golf, and playing with his four grandchildren. Bob was always ready for his next adventure before the one he was on was over.
He was a member of Faith Luteran Church where he met a great group of friends, the “Rat Pack”.
Remaining to cherish Bob’s memory are his spouse, Carolynn; children, Elizabeth (Branden) Kaste and Erica (Jeff) Wieser; grandchildren, Jaxon, Ellie, Monroe, and Isabella; sisters Alice (Gene) Waterworth and Carol Johnson; along with many other extended family members.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Evelyn (Faidley) Johnson; Mother-In-Law, Darlene (Swanson) Hill.
