Paulette Ann Sommer, 75, of Bismarck, ND, passed away on August 21, 2021, at Sanford Health, Bismarck.
A Funeral Service be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Riverside Cemetery, Fargo. A Livestream of the Funeral Service will be available on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page.
Paulette was born on June 26, 1946, to Fred and Ella (Schielke) Helm and grew up on a farm in the Denhoff area attending both country and public schools.
On December 23, 1966, she married Darvis Sommer, they resided in Texas until his discharge from the service, when they moved to West Fargo where she was employed at a motel.
In 2015 she moved to Edgewood Village, Bismarck, then later to the Baptist Health Care Center until her passing.
Paulette will be deeply missed by her daughter, Connie (Ron) Carmona; grandsons, Justin and Dylan; brothers, Delaino (Norleen), Ronnie (Violetta), Duane, Richard (Emmie), Burnell (Anna), Arvin (Special friend Monica Zabolotney), Darrell (Myra), Arlan (Jeanine), Darvis (Susann); sisters, Linda Parsons and Darla Helm; sister-in-law, LaVerne Trangmoe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darvis; parents; brothers, Arlo Helm and Harry Trangmoe; and sister, Connie Yi.
