PATRICIA GEIGER

Patricia Ann Geiger, 68, Bismarck, ND passed away peacefully July 27, 2019 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St. Anne Catholic Church, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bismarck. Visitation will be held at Bismarck Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 31, from 5pm-7pm with Rosary and prayer service following.

Patricia was born November 1, 1950 in Bismarck, ND.  She lived in McKenzie, ND on her family farm and attended McKenzie Country School, after which, she moved to Bismarck to attend St. Mary’s high school. She attended college at Bismarck Junior College. Patricia was employed with the state of North Dakota for 30 plus years until her retirement in 2012.

Patricia enjoyed traveling to Arizona, spending time with her sisters, day trips with friends, golfing and spending time with family.  She and her girls were very close – three peas in a pod. She was extremely proud of her 6 grandchildren and was very involved in watching and transporting them to their various activities.  She will be dearly missed by them all as there are so many things that only she could do.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jessica (Daniel) Barth and their children, Jackson, Dominik, Ethan and Eli; Janelle (Jeramie) Middlestead and their children, Kadence and Elliot Middlestead; her siblings, Marcella Bernhardt, Edward (Angie) Geiger, Helen Moch, Frances Schoonover and Jane Barnes; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Christine Geiger; her brother, James Geiger; and her brothers-in-law, Barney Bernhardt, Tom Moch, Albert Schoonover, and John Barnes, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the St. Mary’s Grade School Scholarship Fund.
