Melinda (Mindy) Wehri, 49, Mandan, passed away on January 28, 2024 due to a terminal illness. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the Mandan Union Cemetery.
Mindy was born on September 23, 1974, to Henry and Sandy (Bullinger) Hurst. She was raised and attended school in Mandan, North Dakota.
Mindy married Mike Wehri on May 16, 1998. They made their home in Minnesota for thirteen years before moving back to North Dakota.
She is survived by two daughters, Maddie Wehri and Emily (Jedd) Marcella; grandchildren, Amara Simpson and Jax Marcella; parents, Henry and Sandy Hurst; brother, Hank Hurst.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Wehri; two sons, Wyatt and Carter Wehri; grandparents, Henry and Maude Hurst Sr., Wendelin and Helen Bullinger; cousin, Andy Bullinger and a special friend, Shelly (Peterson) Elrod.
