Lynn Taylor Field III was born on December 9, 1975, in Elmira, New York to Lynn Field, II and Kimberley West Field. Lynn departed mortality and began his eternal journey on April 27, 2023.
He completed his early education in Elmira. He loved being a Boy Scout and became an Eagle Scout. He developed an early love for the out of doors. As a young adult he moved to North Dakota. He first attended Minot State University and then Dakota College (NDSU) in Bottineau. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in forestry. Lynn’s love for the out of doors continued as did his love of nature. Lynn married Anne Holt on November 3, 2013. Lynn was known for having a generous and giving heart. He was often found working on other people’s cars. He would help strangers in need. He would take a neighbor to get groceries. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Lynn Field, II; his brothers Christopher and Roderick. He is survived by his wife, Anne; his mother, Kimberley Elks (Elmira, NY); his brother, Paul (Hamilton, NY); his sister, Carrie (Elmira, NY) and several nieces and nephews; and his step-daughters, Christianna and Rebecca Mann (Fargo).
Lynn will be buried at Forest Lawn in Elmira, New York, next to his brothers.
