Linda Dvorak, 55, of Bismarck, died on September 13, 2019 in a Bismarck Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Visitation will be on Monday, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home, with a rosary and vigil service at 7:00 p.m.

Linda was born on September 1, 1964 to Clair and Mary (Killoran) Fischer. She was raised and educated in Valley City and graduated from VCHS. She went to college at VCSU and completed her business degree at NDSU. She moved to Bismarck in 1985 and worked for the Agricultural Research Station until she went on disability because of her arthritis.

Linda loved her huge family and spent all of her time with them. She loved gardening, cross stitching, kittens, dogs and nature. She always had a smile and a prayer for everyone.

We don’t look at Linda’s death as a loss but by gaining a great prayer warrior in heaven. She suffered so much here on earth, she will be greatly available to us now as we go about our lives here on earth. She was a great example of someone who always gave of herself, even when she was in great pain. We all love and will miss her, but are happy for her as well.

Linda was united in marriage to Adrian Dvorak on November 30, 1991. Together they welcomed into the world a daughter, Desiree, on September 22, 1995.

Linda is survived by her husband, Adrian; daughter, Desiree; and many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and one nephew.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Linda had a deep impact on me during the two and a half years my family lived in Bismarck. Her tenacity in prayer while suffering physically bore much fruit for eternity. It was a privilege to have been in Moms in Prayer with her.

I was sad to read about Linda passing away. I had the pleasure of getting to meet Linda during our girls night playing Bunco. May she Rest In Peace. ??

May Linda find eternal rest in heaven and may her family feel God’s warm embrace during this time of great sorrow. I have known Linda since we were children playing at each other’s houses. My mother, Marilyn, is Linda’s godmother. Mom is deeply saddened by the loss of Linda and prays for her and her entire family. Linda’s smile is going to be missed by all that knew her.

Adrian & Desiree I am so sorry for your loss. But as the obituary says, you will miss her, but we are happy for her. It’s because of her faith and our faith that we know this is not the end. She is embracing Jesus in heaven without pain. Thinking of you and sending prayers your way to comfort you! ❌⭕️❌⭕️ Terri & Pat Sullivan

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Linda was a customer who always had a smile and worried about others instead of her pain. She gave so much of herself to others and never let her illness stop her from anything. You will be missed. Linda your in God’s hands and yours are healed. Sure will miss you. Gloria West
