Kathy Wilson

d. June 12, 2023

Kathy Anne Wilson (Peplinski) 62 of Bismarck passed away at Sanford peacefully with her kids by her side on June 12, 2023.

Kathy was born in Jamestown, ND to Alvin and Marilyn Peplinski. Kathy Married Randall K. Wilson in 1978. They together had 5 children.  Kathy moved to Bismarck where her final residence was acquired to be close to her family.  Kathy enjoyed working in the food service industry cooking and serving people from nursing homes, daycares and schools to her latest which was kitchen assistant at University of Mary where she enjoyed helping staff and students for the past 4 years. Kathy’s passion to serve others was her joy.  Her cooking has made the difference and brought others together from large gatherings to small family get-togethers.  Her ultimate goal whenever someone was around was to feed them as she felt this made the heart heal.  Kathy’s generosity and willingness to provide for others prevailed in her character.  No one shall be left unfed.

She made a huge impact on the lives she encountered.  No one could resist the smiling gracious woman that could talk till the cows come home.  Her laughter was contagious, her smile was inviting, and her hugs were felt to the core.  Kindness was ever encompassing whenever she walked into room.

Kathy enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She thrived knowing that they succeeded in all activities and loved to attend as many as she could to support them.

Kathy is survived by her 4 Children. Carrie Wilson (Dan Koehler) of Broomfield, CO, Tauna Wilson (Ray Copeland) of Bismarck, ND, Randall “Cody” Wilson (Kori Blackwood-Wilson) of Dickinson, ND and Amanda Wilson of Bismarck ND. Her 13 grandchildren Abrum, Brooklyn, Hayden, Hailey, Maddie, Kaelia, Sama, Chase, Jack, Raelyn, Raquel, Kyra and Vaden.  Her siblings Keven, Karen and Kim Peplinski. She is proceeded in Death by her Husband Randall (Randy), Son Toby Ryan.

Remembrances and condolences may be shared with family at: Bismarck funeral home website.

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be.  So, he put his arms around you and whispered “Come to Me.”  A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.  God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.

To Our Mother

Dear Mother, you raised me, You praised me when I was at my worst, you forgave me, you guided me with honesty, you taught me faith and charity, but most of all, at least to me you gave your love unconditionally.

TO A SPECIAL GRANDMOTHER

There’s a very special lady with a smile, says there is no place you’d rather be. You welcome me to the world by holding my tiny hands.  You cup my little hands and play peekaboo with me. We clap our hands and giggle, I blow a sticky kiss, I wave bye – bye to you and you show pure love and simple bliss.  I often leave my prints on your tidy walls and doors, but little child messes you’ve grown to adore. We take unhurried walks together hand in hand. I share my world with you, and you take time to understand.  You love to tell your stories or make scrumptious things to eat. With your wisdom and your kindness, you have blessed us from the start.  Your tenderness and caring overflowing from her heart.  You are a treasure to our family, and everybody knows you have a glow about you that started from your head to your toes.  Of all the things on this great earth there’s one thing like no other. And that’s the special love and joy of having you as our Grandmother!

Family Gathering will be at Optimus Family Park to follow services.  2098 N. 16 th St. Bismarck ND.
