Juliet Roe

Juliet Turqina (Olson) Roe, 92, died October 27, 2024. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service. 

Juliet was born May 27, 1932 to Tollef Olson and Julia (Kvistero) Olson in Madison, MN. She met Richard Roe on a blind date and the two were married April 27, 1956. In 1963, they moved to Bismarck due to Richards job. Juliet worked various sales jobs including Maurices, Montgomery Wards and Herbergers but her favorite was working at the Stabo Scandinavian Import Store. 

She had a huge love of genealogy and was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. Juliet and her daughter, Sue, took two trips to Norway and many cruises, going all over the world. She enjoyed playing bridge and did so for 60 years! Her hobbies included cross stitch and hardanger embroidery. Sunday family dinners were very important to her and she loved hanging out with her family. When her son, Steve, moved back to Bismarck he traveled with her. Juliet loved traveling with her sons to Alaska and several trips to Hawaii. 

Juliet was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Roe; son, Thomas Richard Roe and her father, Tollef Olson. 

She will be deeply missed by her son, Steven Roe; daughter, Susan Roe; several nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family and friends in Sons of Norway.
