Judith (Judy) Elaine Moritz was born in Minot ND on June 21, 1949, to Lyle and Regina Fuller. Judy grew up in Minot, graduating from Bishop Ryan, where she further developed her faith and love for the Lord.
Judy was an entrepreneur at heart, and this was evident by here many business adventures. Her greatest adventure however began when she met her future husband and love of her life, David. They married on Feb. 22nd, 1973, and raised 5 children together.
Judy’s accomplishments include but certainly not limited to opening a gift and floral shop in Minot, learning to play the accordion, acquiring her pilots license, civil air patrol, owning and running local restaurants and bars, and finally settling into a successful real estate career in the Bismarck/Mandan area.
She would say her greatest accomplishment however was her family. Judy took pride in her kids and grandkids and will be greatly missed by them. Judy shared with Dave a love of animals, especially dogs! Her house was always filled with kids and dogs, and she will be missed terribly by her best little boy Griff.
Some of her favorite things included movies with extra buttered popcorn, circus peanuts, stale Peeps, western show with Matt Dillion, and a diet Hot-N-Tot. Random trips to Big Boy will not be the same without her.
After retiring Judy and Dave spent more and more time in Arizona. Judy truly enjoyed her mornings on the patio planting flowers, drinking coffee while watching the hummingbirds, and breakfast golf cart rides to Skippys for biscuits and gravy.
Despite her 30-yr health battle, Judy remained faithful, loving and strong willed. Often putting others before herself. Judy is a testament to Mind over Matter and proved that time after time.
Judy is survived by her dog and best little buddy Griff; children: Tim (Nicole) Moritz, Jonathan, Breanna, Alex; Eric (Stacie) Moritz, Brekken; Paul (Missy) Moritz, Cole, Aubree, Braxton; Brian (Laci) Moritz, Tuesday, Elliott, Andrea (Mark) Adolf, Max, Charlie; siblings: Thomas (Sarah) Fuller and Ronald (Sandra) Fuller.
She will be greeted in heaven by her loving husband, David (Tuna) Moritz; parents, Lyle and Regina Fuller; and sister, Karen.
Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed but very dear.
