Joanne Flink, 87, of Bismarck, passed away December 30, 2020.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 4, 2020 at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A Livestream of the Service will be available on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page.
Joanne was born to Anton and Marinia (Miller) Wolf on June 2, 1933 in Linton, ND. She was raised on the farm until moving to Bismarck in 1947, graduating from St. Mary’s High School. On August 28, 1954, she married the love of her life, Frank Flink. She worked for KFYR as an accountant for 27 years. Joanne enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. She also loved spending time with her family.
Joanne will be deeply missed by her husband, Frank; children, Joel (Jeff) Volk of Sherwood, ND and Mark Flink of Bismarck ND; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and sister, Clara Buchholtz of Missoula, MT; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Rick Flink, grandson, Cole Flink; 6 sisters, and 2 brothers.
