Jason Mosset

August 31, 1979 — November 21, 2024

Bismarck

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Michael Mosset, who left this world on November 21, 2024, at the age of 45. Jason was a cherished son, brother, nephew and friend, known for his sarcastic wit and intelligence.

Born on August 31, 1979, Jason dedicated his life to serving others and pursuing his dreams. He proudly served in the North Dakota National Guard as a Specialist, exemplifying courage, discipline, and loyalty. After his honorable discharge, Jason continued to seek personal growth and was working towards his bachelor’s degree at Bismarck State College, showcasing his determination and passion for lifelong learning. A skilled and dedicated computer specialist, Jason held many training certificates, reflecting his deep knowledge and passion for technology.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Jason had an extensive work history that included roles in computer technology, security and corrections, where he demonstrated a commitment to safety and community service. His most recent position was at Sanford hospital.

Jason was a man of diverse interests and hobbies. He was an avid tactical weapon and gear collector, a passion that reflected his appreciation for precision, craftsmanship, and history. He also took an interest in 70’s music, computer gaming and vintage Garfield collector’s items.

He is survived by his mother, Nori Mosset (Bismarck); father, Milton Mosset (Hot Springs, SD); sister, Tiffani (Justin) nephew and niece, Koda & Quinn (Hollister, CA); Favorite Uncle, Darrell (Fargo); and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Helen Mosset and Adam and Dolly Dockter; and aunt, Colleen Kari.

A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on December 18th at Bismarck Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Furry Friends, Kitty City, Central Dakota Humane Society or any local animal shelter. As a self-proclaimed, “male version of the crazy cat lady”, he always had a special place in his heart for animals.

Jason will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever be a source of comfort. Please also visit his online memorial to share memories and photos.  Photos of Jason Michael Mosset, (1979 - 2024) - ForeverMissed.com
