James Mohundro

James Allen Mohundro, age 43, Lincoln ND passed away October 25, 2024. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service.

James was born October 15, 1981 in Florida to Dennis and Peggy Mohundro. James was affectionately known by many as “Bubba” or “Gator”. He received his GED and worked as a mechanic throughout his life. He worked for Auto Therapy, A & G Auto as a mechanic and co-owner, and recently for Titan Machinery, Mandan.

James was united in marriage to Jennifer Gartner on December 15, 2012 at Peace Lutheran Church in Lincoln, ND. 

His passion was buying vehicles that he found at car auctions, hauling them home, taking them apart, and putting them back together to make them run. James was a caring, loving family man. He achieved his life dream of having a family and a home when Jennifer, Jasmine, Scott and Andrew came into his life. He always made time for his family, whether it was a weekly movie night, playing video games with the kids, taking family vacations or just cooking their favorite foods. He also enjoyed playing pool, truck mudding, fishing, hunting and gun collecting.

He leaves his wife of 12 years, Jennifer; children, Jasmine, Scott and Andrew. He also leaves behind his parents, Peggy and Scott French; siblings, Frank, Gene, Crystal; sister-in-law, Rachel Mohundro; in-laws, Sharon and Dudley Gartner; brother-in-law, Jason Gartner and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis Mohundro; grandfathers, Bill Spivey and Frank Dillo.
