James "Jim" Morrow

James "Jim" Morrow, a cherished figure from Center, North Dakota, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on February 28, 1958, in Wolford, North Dakota, Jim was the son of Lyle and Goldie (Yoder) Morrow. He was a man who lived a life full of warmth and kindness, traits that earned him many friends throughout his journey.

Jim's professional life revolved around his role as an RDO in Hazen, ND, which he regarded as his favorite job. He treasured the relationships he built during this time. His engaging personality complemented his love for his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren, and reflected his gentle nature. Known for his soft heart, Jim was a pillar of support to those around him, always ready to lend a helping hand and never raising his voice in anger.

Hunting and fishing, notably ice fishing, were among his cherished hobbies that allowed him to connect with nature and share joyful experiences with loved ones. One of his proudest accomplishments was a memorable moose hunt, a testament to his adventurous spirit and skill.

Jim is survived by his wife, Carol, his steadfast partner for 25 years; his daughter, Amanda; his bonus kids: Brandee (Jason) Kottre, along with their children, Austin and Alexandra; Cory (Justine) Szczur, and their children, William, Karalyn, Keeley, and Asher; Tiffanee (Josh) Lauf, and their children, Cohen, Rylen, Hailynn, Treyden, Shyenn, Emrynn, and Kaysen. Jim is also remembered fondly by his brothers, Jeff (Kathy) Morrow, and their children, Joshua, Zach, and Peyton. He leaves behind close friends, including Butch Jons, Wally Keller, Al Hamers, Craig Albers, and many others who considered him a dear friend.

Preceding him in death were his loving parents, Lyle and Goldie Morrow; grandparents; his baby sister, Lyla; and his loyal four-legged companion, Loki.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Center, ND. The family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service. 

Jim Morrow's gentle spirit and unwavering love will forever reside in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy of kindness and strength will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
