Floyd D. Holzworth, 80, Bismarck, went to meet his Lord and Savior on December 12, 2018, peacefully at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Community Church. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Floyd, son of John and Katie Holzworth, was born March 22, 1938 in Napoleon, ND, where he was raised and attended school.
He was united in marriage to Judy (Magstadt) on November 18, 1961. He owned/operated Floyd’s West End Texaco in Bismarck for many years, then worked at Bridgeman Dairy until retiring in 2000.
Floyd enjoyed playing softball, bowling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Judy; children, Brandy Schott, Greg (Brenda) Holzworth, Jeff (Deb) Holzworth, Kim (Bernie) Becker and Sheree (Kevin) Wagner; grandchildren, Matt (Pam) Holzworth, Shawn Holzworth, Ryan and Darren Holzworth, Nicole (Damir) Bicanic, Mitch (Cassie) Becker, Payton Becker and Keylee Holzworth; great grandchildren, Jaxson Becker, Safia and Harris Bicanic, Brynley, Brooklyn and Joseph Becker; sisters, Alvina Hamel, Arlene Conitz, and Linda (Al) Garcia; brothers-in-law, Reuben (Vi) Magstadt, Ervin (Marge) Magstadt; sister-in-law, Bernice Jamgocian.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, six brothers and three sisters, and one special granddaughter Angela Vetter.
