Eusebius “Seb” Kuntz, 98, passed away July 11, 2024, at CHI St. Alexius Health surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Church of Corpus Christi. The service will be live streamed on the church website.
Seb was born May 12, 1926, to Leo and Anna Marie (Bossert) Kuntz in Emmons County ND.
He was united in marriage to his wife Frances Bernhardt on June 23, 1952. They lived in Fargo, ND for a short time where their first child was born before taking over his childhood farm where they raised five children. They moved to Bismarck, ND in the fall of 1979 where he resided until September 1, 2023, when he moved to Missouri Slope Nursing Home in Bismarck.
Seb was a very kind and quiet man. In a room full of people, he was the one to be sitting quietly listening to conversation with a little smirk on his face most of the time.
Seb is survived by his children, Arlene (Andy) Feist, Tim Kuntz, Carlotta Vetsch, Charlotte (Herb) Ebel and Doreen (Harold) Narlock; grandchildren, Sheila (Mark Kieper) Feist, Lanette (Lonnie Moody) Feist, Derek Vetsch, Tami Vetsch, Mikayla Narlock, Kelsie (Fiancé Ben Voller) Narlock; great-grandchildren, Beth (Tristen) Even, Mariah (John) Ratliff, Brianna Miller; great-great grandchildren, John Ratliff, Olivia Ratliff, Hayden Even; siblings, Mike (Carmen) Kuntz, Irene Brown and Florence Glass.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; parents; great-great granddaughter, McKinsey Even; brothers, Leo, Benny and Vincent Kuntz; sisters, Kathryn Roehrich, Barbara Roehrich, Mary Masseth, Alvina Wolf and Agatha (Aggie) Holzer.
The white roses near the altar are in memory of family who are no longer with us.
