Gene was born and raised in Bowman, N.D. the son of Jack and Kathrine Braun. He graduated class of 1964 from Bowman High School.
He led on to live a very successful life, serving in the Air Force to achieving an associates in science. He continued to work hard in his life meeting so many people along the way. He saw things in people when no one else would; he took them under his wing and in his heart. He gave so much of his life to his family and friends. He cherished and held them all dear. He was always the life of any situation with his contagious laugh and smile.
Gene loved to fish, play cards, dice and horseshoes. He loved to sing karaoke and dance (especially with the beautiful ladies). He would tell everyone his famous jokes; they could light up a whole room of people. He would speak fondly of all his lifelong memories; everyday it would seem new memories would come up, and in these memories, may Gene live on in all of us.
Eugene Paul Braun is survived by his brothers Jim, Ken, and Tom, and sister Violet; his daughters Barbara and Sha; and his grandchildren Aliesandra and Eamonn. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Victor, and sister Mary Lou.
