Donna Norton

Donna Norton, 81, Bismarck passed away December 10, 2024 at Augusta Place. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Church of Saint Joseph in Mandan with Father Josh Waltz presiding. Visitation will be on Monday, December 16 from 5-7 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home with a Rosary/Vigil service at 7 PM.

Donna (Ripplinger) Norton was born on May 4, 1943, in Mandan, ND, to Peter and Margaret (Lauinger) Ripplinger. Donna was raised and educated in Mandan. She married Clifford Norton on June 6, 1970, in Mandan, they lived on the family farm where they hosted many family picnics and raised three children. Donna loved cooking, baking, decorating for Christmas and setting up her Christmas villages and playing with her grandkids.

Donna will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lisa Norton, (Bismarck); her sons, Scott Norton (Mandan) and Steve (Jen) Norton (Bismarck); her grandkids, Chelsey Norton (Bismarck) and Tyler Norton (Scranton); her brothers, Garry and Larry (Michelle), both of Mandan, and Peter (Kathy), Billings, Mont.; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Norton; her parents; Peter and Margaret (Lauinger) Ripplinger; two infant sisters, Sherley and Margaret, sisters, Charlotte and Annette; and seven brothers, William, Richard, Kasper, Robert, Theodore, Eugene and Jerry.
