December 26, 1971, Opal (Boschee) and Walter Hoff, welcomed their baby girl, the youngest of the Hoff children. Dawn grew up idolizing her older brothers, Jay and Mike. In 1989, Dawn completed her education, graduating from Bismarck High School. Soon after she welcomed her three greatest blessings into this world, Amanda (1991), Bretten (1996), and Emalee (1999). Dawn raised her three children in Flasher ND, where she was an active and beloved member of the community. You would often find her involved with the Flasher school board, in which she was a member for over 12 years. She also was a passionate member of the Ambulance Service, serving as a EMT for over 20 years. When she wasn’t working, you could find Dawn cheering on her son, Brett, at the hometown football games, soaking up the beautiful singing voice of her daughter, Emalee, or loving on her grandchildren, Brantley and Briar. Dawn relocated to Mandan in the summer of 2017 to be closer to her family .
Dawn always had a way of turning a bad situation into something positive. She was resilient and her work ethic was relentless, something she instilled into each of her children. She was role model with her 18 years in management at Contract America, and her ability to effortlessly raise her family. Dawn formed so many meaningful relationships with clients all over the Unites States, many of whom she counted as friends. When she did get a moment to relax, she loved knitting, gardening, crafting, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Dawn is survived by her three children, Amanda (Josh) Kadrmas, Brett Fleck (Cortney Kahl), and Emalee Fleck, all of Mandan; one special brother and sister in law, Mike and Cindy Hoff, Bismarck; sister-in-law, JoAnn Hoff, Billings MT; niece, Sarah (Tyler) Feist; nephews, Daniel (Jolyn) Hoff, Jermiaha (Nowell) Hoff, Luke (Chelsea) Hoff; two beautiful grandchildren Brantley & Briar Kadrmas; and multiple great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Opal; brother Jay; and special father-in-law Beef.
A memorial account has been established at Gate City Bank under the name 'Benifit of Dawn Fleck'.
