Dale was born in Bismarck to Virgil Sr. and Diane (Jahner) Fischer. He graduated from Bismarck High School. At a young age, Dale started his career as a cook and kitchen manager. At a later age, he became a carpenter, which he loved. He then started working for Crazy D’s Construction, for his son Dustin. Later he went to work for Missouri River Contracting. When Dale wasn’t working he enjoyed riding his bike, reading the bible and his favorite possession was his red S10 Chevy pickup.
Eight years ago Dale married Luzviminda Diaz, in the Philippines, where she is from. Dale raised two sons, Dustin and Caine. Dale’s love for his sons was only matched by the love he felt for his granddaughter, Abigail (Abby).
Dale is survived by his wife, Luzvminda Diaz “Luzy”; mother, Diane Fischer; two brothers, Virgil Jr. (Sheri) Fischer and Ervin Fischer; sister, Debra (Lee) Duppong; and good friend, like a brother, Tracy Smith “Smitty”.
