In 1995, work brought Gary and Kay to Bismarck where they made their home until her death.

Kay grew up with a love for horses and adored her horse, Baldy. She was a meticulous housekeeper. She spent lots of time in the garden and enjoyed canning the fruits of her labor. Kay was also a wonderful baker, most known for her brownies, peanut cake, and marshmallow cookies. She was known as the “tootsie roll grandma” as she always had her candy jar full of tootsie rolls ready for the grandkids.

Kay is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Shawn) Morlock, Bismarck, and Wade (Tina) Morlock, Peoria, AZ; grandchildren, Cassandra (Kevin) Keller, Bismarck; Abbie (Austin) Steiner, Lincoln, NE; and Delanie Morlock, Glendale, AZ; great grandchildren, Claire Keller and James Keller, Bismarck; brother Bob (Pat), Carrington ND; and sister, Jeanette, Virginia Beach, VA.
