Carol Gear, 75, Driscoll, passed away November 15, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Interment will take place at the Driscoll Cemetery in the spring.
Carol was born June 23, 1944 to Harry and Mary (Bruggemann) Staten in Tacoma, WA, where she was raised and attended school. After coming to North Dakota, Carol worked various jobs.
Carol married James Gear on October 11, 1996 and they have made their home in Driscoll ever since. She worked for the Driscoll Township as the township clerk and treasurer. She had several hobbies, including scrapbooking, sewing, and tending to her beautiful yard and flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James Gear; sons, Douglas (Debbye) Irish, Cleveland, TX, Duane (LeAnn) Irish, Jamestown, ND, and Jerome (Judy) Diekmann, West Jordan, UT; sister, Alice Field, Salt Lake City, UT; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
