Belinda Marie Fadness, 66, Bismarck, passed away on September 14, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 20, at Grace Lutheran Brethren Church, 2400 East Avenue A, Bismarck. Burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Belinda was born August 15, 1952, in Williston, ND to Adolf Bernhardt and Eveline Magdelan (Hoffmann) Quinnell.
She was a very strong Christian throughout her life. Her courageous soul with a quick sense of humor has left many impressions. Despite her hardships, Belinda always maintained a positive attitude.
Belinda graduated from Lisbon High School, Lisbon, ND in 1970 and continued on to Wahpeton State School of Science. After her marriage to Richard Fadness in 1972, they moved to California. Belinda was department manager for Loyd’s Bank. Together they owned the Melroe Equipment Company dealership in Gardenia, CA for 22 years. Belinda started her own business, Kids Covers, designing Kid’s bedding.
Belinda is survived by her husband, Richard Fadness; daughter, Ashley (Ryan) Cohen, Bismarck; grandchildren, Keira Knight, Koral Cohen and Jordan Cohen; sisters, Beverly Froemke, Lisbon, Renae (Wayne) Even, Bismarck and Rebecca Hooker, Bismarck.
Belinda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Adolf and Eveline Quinnell; and her father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Inez Fadness.
