Anna Mae Morris, 88, Bismarck, passed away Oct. 18, 2018, in a Bismarck care center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday Oct 23, 2018 at Church of St Anne, 1321 Braman Ave, Bismarck. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m.
Anna Mae was born on May 8, 1930 in Bismarck to John and Elizabeth (Small) Sabot. She was raised and educated in the Bismarck area where she enjoyed outdoor life.
Mom married Eugene Morris on June 10, 1948 at Church of St Mary. After their marriage they lived in Regan, then Bismarck. Dad’s job as a Standard Oil Bulk Agent brought them to Bentley, and finally Mott. Mom enjoyed camping, and fishing, especially with sisters Yvonne and Betty, playing bingo and enjoying time with her special friend Vernon Morris. Mom was a loving, generous person who cared deeply for family. She moved to Bismarck after Dad’s death.
Anna Mae is survived by her children: Allan (Darlene), Cindy (Leon) Kirschemann, Randy (Becky), Brian (Sheila), Laurie (David) Wutzke, Rick (Jennifer Schulte); 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers John, Verdun, Lawrence and Clarence; sisters Yvonne Morris and Betty Ewine; infant daughter, Merri Beth; sons Collin and Daniel; great grandson, Declan Morris; and great granddaughter, Riley Blakeman.
