Alex Kelsch, 88, passed away January 28, 2023, peacefully at a Bismarck Hospital surrounded by family. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 2, at Church of St. Anne’s in Bismarck.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1 st , from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home, with a Rosary and Vigil service at 7:00 PM
Alex was born May 8 th , 1934, in Linton, North Dakota. He was the son of Frank and Mary (Wingerter) Kelsch.
On October 25 th , 1955, he was united in marriage to Mary Krumm. He was a member of Local 49 Operator’s Union and worked for Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center until his retirement.
He is survived by 5 children, Linda Kelsch of New York, Mary (Bill) Davis of Bismarck, Jim (Nancy) Kelsch of Wisconsin, Sharon Boehm of Bismarck, and Jenny Keim of Jamestown; 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He had a special friend, Mavis Burt.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and 6 sisters and 2 brothers. He was the last living sibling.
