25 Jun LaVern E. Frank

LaVern Esther Frank (Bauer) passed away on June 13, 2019 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck, ND at the age of 88.  LaVern was born in Logan County in North Dakota on November 12, 1930, the daughter of Andrew & Martha (Redman) Bauer.  She attended Napoleon High School and married Raymon E. Frank on Sept. 24, 1950.  LaVern was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

LaVern is survived by husband, Raymon;  son, Jim (Deb) Frank, Devils Lake, ND; four daughters, Kathy Geestman, Linton, ND; Shari Johnson, Belgrade, MT; Lori (Les) Hintz, Hayden Lake, Idaho; and Kari (Craig) Schmidt, Minot, ND; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law; and many nephews and nieces.  LaVern was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and 4 brothers.   

Burial Service will take place at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan on June 17, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a service and fellowship at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Bismarck.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
