I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don and my father, Gary Miller, were friends for as long as I can remember. Don was always there to offer help, a hand, or a shoulder, when needed. The last time I visited with Don was when we were told of my own fathers cancer prognosis. Always a kind word and his support. Don was a good and kind man that I will always remember.

Sandy & Family, My friend Connie in Bismarck notified me of Don's passing. Ross and I send our deepest sympathy, and we know Don will be missed greatly. We haven't been back to Bismarck for several years, but when we are there we always drive by the old house and we think of you and the kids often. I also remember how grateful we were to have you as our baby sitter for Roslyn and Russell. What a great family. We stopped at your home and the Harveys, but no one answered. The obituary says you are now in Fargo. The holidays will be difficult for you, but I'm sure the kids will help you get thru it. Much love. Sandi and Ross

Dear Kadrmas Family. I have so many wonderful memories of Don through out the years growing up in Bismarck, and seeing he and Sandy when home for visits. From cub scouts at the Kadrmas house, to all our years at Cathederal and St Marys, and through all the trials and tribulations life threw our way, Don was always there with love and support and was an example of how to live a life of service and good will toward others. I wish I could see you all today, especially to give Sandy a big long hug! Know that I am with you all in spirit, sending my love. God bless.

It is nearly impossible to express the impact that Don Kadrmas had on my life. A man of extraordinary integrity, always there for his family, his faith, his friends and his commmunity. Impossible also to list all the wonderful memories of being with Don and Sandy and all the Kadrmas'. Know that many, many people are holding you and are alongside you with prayers and support. He was loved by so many. Farewell my friend. Bill and Lisa Hummel

He was a second father to me growing up. My life-long friendship with his firstborn afforded me a closeness to this fine family, with Mr. Kardrmas as the ever-solid patriarch. A warm smile, a distinctive and infectious laugh, and a great story teller. Many hours logged in the family vehicles, in their home, and just hanging out. Thank you, sir, for your kindness and all of the fond memories. Condolences to Sandy, Perry, Becky, Pat, and Dan.

Large extended families are the best. Whenever something fun was happening on my Dad's side of the family you could be sure my Uncle Eddie Ficek and my cousin Donnie Kadrmas were in the middle of it. Not sure if it was Donnie who had the red-eye available but he surely knew about it. He had a wonderful way of telling stories--there was one about a relative who shall remain nameless who, after a night of, let's say celebrating, ended up damaging a car and being found the next day, sleeping, in kneeling prayer position, at his bed. He was always glad to see you and you were always glad to see him. He was warm, inviting and kind. It's not going to be the same without him. Godspeed Cousin. Gary Ficek

Donnie, Sandy, and family will be remembered as the "host family" of the "Unlucky 7". The greatest and most gracious. May he rest in peace.

So sorry, Sandy, to hear of Don’s passing; the past 10 years must have been so difficult for you, but your love for each other shined brightly as you so lovingly cared for Don...what a remarkable dedication! I very fondly remember Don visiting you so many times at noon at Cathedral School...he was so easy-going and always ready to visit. May Don rest in eternal peace, and may you, Sandy, find consolation in memories of such a beautiful marriage. Doug and Loretta Schroeder
