Frances Kuntz

Frances (Bernhardt) Kuntz, 91, of Bismarck, ND passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 surrounded by family at CHI St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck. Cremation has taken place.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bismarck, ND, on Friday May 6th, 2022. Starting at 9:00 a.m. there will be a period of visitation with the family followed by the Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Patrick Schumacher officiating. Burial will take place at St. Michaels Catholic Church Cemetery rural Linton, ND at a later date with immediate family only.

Frances was born January 22, 1931, to William and Rose (Kuntz) Bernhardt on the family farm outside of Linton, ND. In June 23, 1952, she married Eusebius Kuntz at St. Michaels Catholic Church rural Linton, ND. After living in Fargo, ND for a few years they made their home in rural Linton, ND together where they raised their family until moving to Bismarck in 1979.

She enjoyed spending time with family and sharing her many baked goodies. She also enjoyed the numerous children she provided daycare for through the years and spoke very fondly of them.

Frances is survived by her husband, Eusebius of 69 years; 5 children, Arlene (Andy) Feist, Tim Kuntz, Carlotta Vetsch, Charlotte (Herb) Ebel, Doreen (Harold) Narlock; 6 grandchildren, Sheila Feist, Lanette Feist, Derek Vetsch, Tami Vetsch, Mikayla Narlock, Kelsie Narlock; great grandchildren, Beth (Tristan) Even, Mariah (John) Ratliff, Brianna Miller; great great grandchildren, John Ratliff, Hayden Even, Olivia Ratliff; sisters, Phyllis (August) Werner, Alvina Schaff; and brother William (Veronica) Bernhardt.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Rose (Kuntz) Bernhardt; brothers, Anton Bernhardt, Sebastian Bernhardt, Lee Bernhardt, George Bernhardt, Jackie Bernhardt; sisters, Regina Bernhardt, Rose Marie Sperle, and Helen Bernhardt.
