Eunice Weisenburger

Eunice Weisenburger, 86, Tuttle died April 30th at Missouri Slope Nursing Home, Bismarck, ND.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. A Livestream of the Service will be available on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.

Eunice was born January 12th, 1936, to Norman and Elizabeth (Fetzer) Rippley.  She was raised on the family farm and attended school in Tuttle.  On October 14th 1952 she was united in marriage to Donald Weisenburger.  They lived near Tuttle where they farmed and ranched and raised their four children.  In 2013, they moved into Tuttle where they enjoyed visiting with friends at the Tuttle café and Senior Center.

Eunice was a member of the local VFW.  She could always be found in the kitchen, making delicious meals for her family.  She will forever be remembered for her amazing cooking, but she was probably most famous for her chocolate cake with caramel frosting.  When she wasn’t busy working on the farm or cooking, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.  Eunice also closely followed the Minnesota Twins and could often be heard yelling at the television when they were playing.  Once when Eunice was attending a Twins game with Donnie, they made it on the Kiss Cam!  While residing in the nursing home, Eunice enjoyed playing bingo and visits from all of her friends and family.

Eunice is survived by her children, Denise (Ed) Bickel, Tuttle, Mark Weisenburger, Tuttle, Steve (Annette) Weisenburger, Tuttle, Todd (Pamela) Weisenburger, Wilton; her grandchildren, Casey (Greg) Klein, Minot, Grant (Jennifer) Bickel, Hazen, Weston Weisenburger, Bismarck, Alicia (Dustin) Brossart, Tuttle, Brianna Weisenburger, Bismarck, McKenna Weisenburger, Wilton; Great Grandchildren Sarah (Travis) Gumeringer, Bismarck, Chris (Jackie) Klein, Cavalier, Myah and Navaeh Brossart, Tuttle and five great great grandchildren; brothers  Robert and Frank Rippley; in-laws, June and Kyla Rippley, Arley (Sylvia) Weisenburger, Alvin Gruebele, Betty Weisenburger, Gladys Clapham, Janice (Andy) Anderson, Julie Weisenburger and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband Donald; siblings Dennis Rippley, Stanley Rippley, Larry Rippley, and Nancy Rippley; in-laws; Wilbert (Vivian) Wiesenburger, Maynard (Maxine) Weisenberger , Shirley Gruebele, Mildred (Vernon) Rask, Jim Clapham, Rachel (Julius) Wolff, Glendell Weisenburger, Gary Weisenburger, Garold Weisenburger, Stanley Weisenburger, Leon (Connie) Weisenburger.
