Ervin Eggers

Ervin H Eggers, 79, Bismarck, ND, went to heaven to be with the Lord, on October 1, 2022, at Missouri Slope Care Center in Bismarck. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Bismarck Funeral Home.  For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page.  Burial will take place at a later date.

Ervin was born on June 15, 1943, to Homer and Borghild (Pedersen) Eggers, at Harvey, ND. He grew up on a farm north of Martin, ND. He married Betty Delzer on September 3, 1966. They made their home in Mandan, ND where he worked Construction in the Bismarck/Mandan area. Ervin played guitar and sang with several country and old-time bands over 40 years.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Betty, daughter, Michelle (Joe) DuFrame, Bismarck, son, Monte (Heather) Eggers, New Richmond, WI, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Dustin) White, Heather, Jonathan, Isaiah, Jessica DuFrame, Samantha, Kolton, Isabelle, and Alexandria Eggers, great grandchildren, Kenneth, Kyle, and Dimitri White, Jameson DuFrame, sister, Vivian Rudnick, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Ervin was preceded in death by two sons, Trent and Jamie, his parents, father and mother-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna (Frank) Doubek, Marilyn (Ron) Quamme, Effie (John) Nalda, Ted Rudnick, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and other extended family members.

Betty, we are so sorry to hear of Erv’s passing. We were your neighbors when you first moved into your home. Erv was quite a character! He would always have words of wisdom if you were out working in the yard or having a garage sale….he always brought a smile.

Aunt Betty, I am so sorry I could not make it for Uncle Ervin’s funeral. Truly, my heart and prayers are with you all. Praying that God puts his loving arm around you, Michelle, and Monte providing comfort and peace. Love you all.
