Darlene Edwardson, 79, Lincoln, died November 23, 2021, in a Bismarck hospital. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of the service. For those not attending, the service will be streamed live on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page.
Darlene was born on September 20, 1942, in Jamestown, ND to Albert and Edna (Schmuhl) Brown. Darlene was a very loving and caring person. She had very close friends with her program Support Systems who helped her with her daily needs.
Darlene had a great love of dogs. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and collected numerous things of his.
Darlene is survived by her son: Dean; grandchildren: David and Kellie; and sister: Lauri Howard.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents.
Sending hugs and prayers for comfort and peace to Dean and family. Your mom was the sunshine for so many of us at Support Systems. She enjoyed teasing us all of the time and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. She will also be remembered for her fierce loyalty to those that she trusted and loved. She had many favorites and always checked on those she loved to make sure that they were ok. We are going to miss her beyond words and pray that all of you find peace in your great memories of your mom and grandma – who blessed us with her grace and kindness.
