Charles (Chuck) Vincent Lenz, 62, loving husband of Schelly Lenz of Bismarck, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck.  Memorial services will be on Friday, December 20, 2019, at 2:30 p.m., at the Bismarck Funeral Home.

Chuck was born December 10, 1957 in El Paso, Texas, to Dennis C. and JoAnne (Wieber) Lenz. After graduating from Bismarck High School in 1976, he worked as a butcher and then as a finish carpenter and cabinet maker in residential construction. Chuck was a master craftsman, which led him to design and successfully market a state-of-the-art dust hood for Penn State Industries. In his spare time, he expertly restored antique furniture pieces for clients and made beautiful furniture pieces, cornices, and cupolas for family and friends. He loved spending time outdoors helping neighbors with lawn care or snow removal. Chuck lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with neighbors, friends, and family, working on his truck, playing with his two Gordon Setters, and cooking up incredible batches of chili. In his younger days, he was an accomplished downhill skier and swimmer.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Schelly of Bismarck; his parents, Dennis and JoAnne (Wieber) Lenz of Idaho Falls, ID; and sisters, Michelle (Kregg) Dire of Bismarck, Denise (John) Kotek of Rockville, MD, mother-in-law, Mavis Wolf, Napoleon, sisters and brothers-in-law, Gerald (Bernice) Wolf, Bismarck, Brenda (Jim) Nelson, Bismarck, Marla Saville, Bismarck, and Cory Wolf, Lincoln, and many nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Anton Wolf and sister-in-law, Janet Wolf.
