Cecilia Fleck, 93, passed away December 19, 2019, at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home, Bismarck.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of St. Anne.  Burial will take place following the luncheon, at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will take place on Sunday from 5:00-6:30 p.m., with Rosary and Prayer Service beginning at 6:30, at the Bismarck Funeral Home.

There will also be a time of visitation, at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home, on Sunday from 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Cecilia Wilhelm was born on July 24, 1926 to Joseph and Karolina (Kelsch) Wilhelm.  She grew up in the Linton/Strasburg area before moving to Bismarck at a young age.

She married Leo Fleck on October 26, 1955 and together they had three daughters, Susan, Della and Ruth.

Cecilia retired from St. Alexius Medical Center after working nearly 45 years in the operating room, as a nurse’s aide. After retirement she spent time in her flower gardens, quilting and embroidering, going on walks, baking, canning and gardening with her husband, Leo.

Cecilia was a member of the Altar Society, Catholic Forester’s, Eagle’s Auxiliary and St. Anne’s Catholic Church.

Cecilia is survived by her three daughters, Susan (Rick) Evans, Della (Rod) Mastel, and Ruth Hart; five grandchildren, Mindy, Jesse, and Alicia Hart and Kelsey and Kati Mastel; great grandson, Greyson; and two sisters, Bernadine Dickson and Caroline Schaffer.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leo; parents, Joseph and Karolina; brothers, Joseph, John, Anton, Euesbuis, Balzer and Frederick; sisters, Regina, Katherine, Mary, Valeria and Theresa.
