Bruce Howard Sinnamon, 58, passed away suddenly at his home in Bismarck on Nov. 4, 2019, of natural causes.

Bruce grew up in Jenkintown, PA, attended Abington High School in Abington, PA, and Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, PA, where he graduated in 1978. He studied sociology at Penn State Abington and Pennsylvania State University Main Campus. He also studied management information systems at Minot State University, Minot, ND. Bruce most recently worked as a business analyst for Unisys.

Bruce loved family, animals, sports, music and long drives. A lifetime Philly “Phan”, he enjoyed following his favorite sports teams from a distance and knew the athletes, sportscasters, and plenty of facts and trivia about all of them. Bruce was an avid bowler, embracing his role as league secretary for many years. His passion for guitars had him playing in a band “when he still had hair,” as he liked to say, and later on turning that passion into production as a sound technician, a hobby he excelled at.

He cared deeply for his step-grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae (Peterson) Sinnamon; father, Howard Isaac Sinnamon, Jenkintown, PA; and sister, Melinda Sue (Sinnamon) Dougherty, Ocala, FL.

He is survived by TyAnn Sinnamon, Bismarck; sister, Julie Ann Sinnamon, Jenkintown, PA and brother, Craig Robert Sinnamon, Shillington, PA.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce’s name be made to Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue, Inc. of Bismarck-Mandan or Mocha’s Mission of Bismarck.
