Marc M. Schulz, 69, passed from this life on Tuesday morning, March 2, 2021 at his home in Riverdale, ND.  Cremation has taken place.  A private family service to be held at a later date.

Marc was born on December 12, 1951 to Norman D. and Eunice (Schatz) Schulz and grew up in New Leipzig, ND.  He attended and graduated from Dickinson State University where he met and married Sharon (Hartman), his soul-mate and best friend of 50 short years.

Marc and Sharon settled in Bismarck, ND with daughter, Marcy, in 1976 when he joined The North American Coal Corporation.  He worked at various locations including The Falkirk Mining Company and The Coteau Properties Company.  He never forgot the many good people he worked with over his 35 year career.

Marc enjoyed driving golf balls down the fairway, chasing fish downriver, and flushing pheasants from tree lines.  He especially enjoyed sharing these experiences with Sharon and friends.  His dry humor, witty stories, deliciously seasoned ribeye steaks, perfectly poured martinis and manhattans will be remembered by many.

One of Marc’s greatest joys was the relationship he had with his grandson, Brendon.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Sharon, one daughter, Marcy Feyereisn, one grandson, Brendon Feyereisn, one brother and sister-in-law, Stacy and Monica Schulz, Bend, OR and many close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
